Axiata will sponsor a limited number of deserving young individuals who have gained entry into one of the top universities* in the United Kingdom in the specified course of study. Below is the preferred list for identified courses at the selected universities:

About the International Baccalaureate Pre-University Program

The International Baccalaureate Pre-University Programme sees scholars being enrolled to complete the two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) programme at the International School of Penang (Uplands). 

IB is a reputable programme tailored to provide scholars with a rounded education that prepares them for their university careers and lives ahead. We believe that the IB programme can develop young adults to be inquisitive, knowledgeable and caring, thus contributing towards creating a better world, recognising and respecting cultural differences and diversity.

Yayasan TM invites qualified Malaysian students with excellent academic achievements, pleasant personality and who are active in co-curricular activities to apply for scholarships to pursue higher education at both local and overseas universities.

The scholarships are available for Engineering, Management, and Information Technology courses at various programmes as follows:

1. Overseas Foundation Programme
2. Multimedia University (MMU) Foundation / Alpha Programme
3. Diploma Programme at Multimedia University (MMU)
4. Undergraduate Programme at Multimedia University (MMU) and Local Public Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTA)

Eligibility criteria

• Malaysian
• Possesses excellent academic achievement
• Pleasant personality
• Active in co-curricular activities

Academic requirements

• Overseas foundation programme
  • SPM students
  • Obtained a minimum of 8A in SPM inclusive of 5 compulsory subjects related to course of studies.
• Multimedia University (MMU) Foundation / Alpha Programme
  • SPM students intending to pursue studies at MMU only.
  • Obtained at least 4A- 1B in SPM in any 5 compulsory subjects related to course of studies.
• Diploma Programme at Multimedia University (MMU)
  • SPM students or those who have commenced their studies at MMU.
  • Obtained at least B in SPM in any 5 compulsory subjects related to course of studies or a minimum of CGPA of 3.00.
• Undergraduate Programme at Multimedia University (MMU) and Local Public Institution of Higher Learning (IPTA)
  • Open to candidate with Diploma, Matriculation, MMU Alpha, STPM or other equivalent qualifications.

• All scholarship holders are bonded to serve TM and its subsidaries for a stipulated period upon completion of study.
• In the event the scholar failed to comply with the conditions of the agreement, the scholar is deemed to have contravened the agreement and is required to reimbursed all expenses borne by Yayasan TM for the duration.
• Legal action shall be instituted against the Scholar/Borrower and their guarantors in the event of any infringement of the Yayasan TM and/or TM Agreement.
