Rumors has been around which sounds that the appeal form released by JPA normally comes a few weeks after the release of the JPA scholarship results. However, we are glad to say that MCA had released the information that they are willing to help students who failed to secure a JPA scholarship to appeal, but it varies with situation, according to the NanYang's original news article in Chinese: http://www.nanyang.com.my/NewsCenter/articleDetail.asp?type=N&ID=243836&SID=7&CID=10
According to the article, a Minister in the cabinet disclosed about the processing applications for students who obtained 5A in SPM examination would be case-by-case basis.
"As for candidates who obtained 5 or 6 subjects A +, they can individually write to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to lodge a situation."
The Prime Minister also said that he will personally deal with such applications at the meeting .

Would PM, Datuk Seri Najib really deal with my son's results as stated below, with 6A+ & 4As? His appeal application was received by MCA on 18-May-2011.

He found out that, his classmate with just 2A+ & others with A,A-,B & C, had secured a United Kingdom JPA Scholarship for Pharmacist, in which my son is also interested in. He attended an interview but unfortunately, he was rejected for JPA scholarship. He is now very sad,disappointed & very confused on how our government allocate scholarships.
