(May 14th, Petaling Jaya) Datuk Ir. Dr. Wee Ka Siong said that students who are not satisfy with the arrangement of JPA scholarships can appeal through MAC Youth.
However, he said, only those very reasonable appeal cases will be handled by MCA Youth.
He gave an example: if a student applied Medicine, but get Pharmacy, or get the local university but asked for a foreign university instead, the situation may be more difficult; if the student obtained 12A + but only get the scholarship for studying diploma courses in local universities, this situation is more easier to handle.
He admitted that, but not the success rate of appeal is very low, unless the case is very special.
Dr. Wee Ka Siong also said that since last night till today, he received many calls from parents and students to ask for his help, after the Public Service Department released the JPA scholarships results yesterday. The main problem is to inquire the
