2012 is going to be an EXCITING year for Yale-NUS College, as we hire our first set of faculty members, conduct our inaugural round of admissions, and break ground on our amazing new campus.
Some not-to-be-missed recent highlights include:
More exciting news: the Yale-NUS College J.Y Pillay Distinguished Visiting Professor, Sir Peter Crane FRS, will be in Singapore in a couple of weeks’ time and will give a special lecture on 17th January 2012, on “The Future of Plants: Conservation and Use in the 21st Century”. Finally, if you are a prospective student interested in Yale-NUS, mark your calendar for the opening of ourSpecial Inaugural Round of Admissions (http://yale-nus.edu.sg/ Special-Inaugural-Round-of- Admissions.html) on 1st February 2012 – that is the date our online application portal will open and we will start accepting applications for our very first class in 2013 (and 2014 for the males who have a National Service obligation).
